Caseres (Catalan pronunciation:[kaˈzeɾes]) is amunicipality in thecomarca of laTerra Alta inCatalonia, Spain. It has a population of 240 (register office, 2024)

This town is located in picturesque surroundings, but manywind turbines are being constructed in theSerra dels Pesells hills nearby.[4] The name of the village appears already in 1153 in documents of theMiravet castle, which belonged at that time to theKnights Templar order, and later to theKnights Hospitaller in 1359.
Presently the town derives some income fromrural tourism.
