Carsten Körber (born 11 June 1979) is a German politician of theChristian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been serving as a member of theBundestag from the state ofSaxony since 2013.
Körber first became member of the Bundestag in the2013 German federal election.[1] He is a member of the Budget Committee and the Audit Committee.[2] In this capacity, he serves as his parliamentary group'srapporteur on the annual budgets of theFederal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, theFederal Constitutional Court and theFederal Foreign Office (since 2022).
In March 2021, Körber replacedAxel Fischer as chair of the Audit Committee.[3][4]
