Caroline Ryan (born 10 October 1979) is an Irish formerrower,[2] andracing cyclist.[3]
In 2008, Ryan won thePrincess Royal Challenge Cup (the premier women's singles sculls event) at theHenley Royal Regatta, rowing for the Garda Siochana Boat Club.[4]
Ryan won the bronze medal in thewomen's points race at the2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships,[5][6] Ireland's first medal at a seniortrack cycling world championship sinceHarry Reynolds took gold in 1896 and bronze in 1897.[2] Ryan won the time trial at theIrish National Cycling Championships three times (2011, 2013 & 2014).
