Carnosol is aphenolic diterpene found in theherbs rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)^[1] and Mountain desert sage (Salvia pachyphylla).^[2]

It has been studied in-vitro for anti-cancer effects in various cancer cell types.^[3]
