Carlos Alberto González Romero[1] (born in 1960 inCoronel) is aChileanfootball manager and former footballer.
In 1990, González joined Peruvian clubSporting Cristal, coinciding with his compatriotsQuemel Farías as teammate andEugenio Jara as coach.[2]
In 2004, he was signed byDeportes Temuco. That season he put the team into theTorneo Apertura andTorneo Clausura quarterfinals.[3]
On December 12, 2005, he agreed a contract withSantiago Wanderers to coach them for face theTorneo Apertura.[3][4] On July 3, he was fired from Wanderers.[5]
In 2006, he returned toTemuco to coach the now calledDeportivo Temuco. On April 23, 2007, he was fired from Deportivo Temuco, being replaced byEduardo Bonvallet.[6]
