Carl Breer (November 8, 1883 – December 21, 1970) was an American scientist and engineer, and one of the Studebaker engineers known asthe Three Musketeers.[1]
He was born on November 8, 1883, inLos Angeles,California.[2]
He was married to the sister ofFrederick Morrell Zeder and had four sons.[unreliable source?][2]
He died on December 21, 1970.[3]
He attended the Los Angeles Commercial High School.[2] He completed his degree in mechanical engineering.[2]
He was one of the Studebaker engineers known asthe Three Musketeers. They were instrumental in the founding of theChrysler Corporation, and were hand-picked byWalter Chrysler to come with him when he started the new company.[2]
He was inducted into theAutomotive Hall of Fame in 1976.[4]
