Thewhite-rumped kingfisher orglittering kingfisher (Caridonax fulgidus) is a species ofbird in the familyAlcedinidae. It ismonotypic within the genusCaridonax.[2] It isendemic toIndonesia, where its naturalhabitats aresubtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moistmontane forest.[1]
It is dark blue all over, except its underside and rump, which are white. It has a red bill and feet. Its eyes are dark brown.
