Captain America: Civil War (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is thefilm score to theMarvel Studios filmCaptain America: Civil War composed byHenry Jackman.Hollywood Records released the album on May 6, 2016.[1]
In August 2014, directorsAnthony andJoe Russo announced that Jackman, who wrote the score forCaptain America: The Winter Soldier, would return to write the score forCivil War.[2] Jackman noted that theindustrial elements of the track "The Winter Soldier" fromthe soundtrack toThe Winter Soldier was a good indication of what the soundtrack toCivil War would sound like, though he cautioned it was "just a jumping off point since the Russos are looking for something new — similar with a twist."[3] However, Jackman noted that the score forCivil War is more symphonic and orchestral thanWinter Soldier.[4]
