Capafonts (Catalan pronunciation:[ˌkapəˈfɔns]) is a village in theprovince ofTarragona andautonomous community ofCatalonia. According to data of 2012 its population was of 121 inhabitants.
Also calledCapafons, with traditional spelling, the place name derives from the LatinCapite fontium, "head of the fountains".[4] A total of 53 fountains were recorded, most notablyFont de la Llódriga, which never dried.[5]
