Cangandala (orKangandala) is a town andmunicipality in theprovince ofMalanje (Malange) inAngola.[3][4][5] It covers anarea of 5,770 square kilometres (2,230 sq mi) and itspopulation is 45,120 (2014 census).
Cangandala is bordered to the north by the municipalities ofMucari andMalanje (Malange), to the east by the municipality ofCambundi-Catembo, to the south by the municipality ofLuquembo, and to the west by the municipality ofMussende.
The municipality contains thecomunas (communes) ofCangandala,Caribo, Culamagia and Mbembo.
