Campbell Bay National Park is anational park inIndia, located on the island ofGreat Nicobar, the largest of theNicobar Islands in the easternIndian Ocean, some 190 km to the north ofSumatra. It was gazetted as anational park of India in 1992, and forms part of theGreat Nicobar Biosphere Reserve. The park has an approximate area of some 426 km2, and is separated from the smallerGalathea National Park by a 12-km wide forest buffer zone.[1][citation needed] The climate is humid and warm.[2]
