
Thediocese of Caltadria (Latin:Dioecesis Caltadriensis) is a suppressed andtitular see of theRoman Catholic Church.[1][2]
The location of thebishopric's originalcathedra is now lost[3] but it was in today'sAlgeria, and is recorded of theRoman province ofMauretania Caesariensis duringlate antiquity.[4][5][6]
The only known bishop of this diocese is Victor, who took part in thesynod assembled in Carthage in 484 by theVandal KingHuneric, after which Victor was exiled. Today Caltadria survives as atitular bishopric and the current bishop is Janusz Ostrowski, ofWarmia, Poland.
