TheCalixa-Lavallée Award (French:Prix Calixa-Lavallée) is a musicaward created in 1959. It is granted by theSaint-Jean-Baptiste Society ofMontreal (SSJBM) to a Quebecer having distinguished themself in the field of music.[1] It was named after musicianCalixa Lavallée, composer of theCanadiannational anthem, "O Canada".
