California's 35th senatorial district is one of 40CaliforniaState Senate districts. It is currently represented byDemocrat Laura Richardson of Long Beach.

The district straddlesInterstate 110, including the inland portions of theSouth Bay in addition to parts ofSouth Los Angeles. The district stretches fromInglewood andWatts in the north down toSan Pedro and thePort of Los Angeles in the south.
