California's 27th congressional district is acongressional district in theU.S. state ofCalifornia. The district is currently represented byDemocrat George T. Whitesides.

The district includes most of northernLos Angeles County, including the cities ofSanta Clarita,Palmdale, andLancaster, and parts of the northwesternSan Fernando Valley in the city ofLos Angeles.[3] Prior to redistricting in 2022, the district was located in theSan Gabriel Valley.

Under the 2020 redistricting, California's 27th congressional district is located inSouthern California, encompassing most of northernLos Angeles County. It includes the cities ofSanta Clarita,Lancaster, andPalmdale; the census-designated placesStevenson Ranch,Val Verde,Hasley Canyon,Castaic,Lake Hughes,Elizabeth Lake,Green Valley,Agua Dulce,Acton,Leona Valley,Quartz Hill,Desert View Highlands,Littlerock, andSun Village; the neighborhoods ofPorter Ranch andGranada Hills in the city ofLos Angeles; along with theSierra Pelona Mountains and the northern slopes of theSan Gabriel Mountains.
