Emporium on the coast of ancient Bithynia

Cales orKales (Ancient Greek:Κάλης), alsoCalles orKalles (Κάλλης), was anemporium or trading place on the coast ofancient Bithynia at the mouth of a river of the same name. Cales was 120stadia east ofElaeus.[1][2]

It is located nearAlaplı inAsiatic Turkey.[3][4]
