Caledonia Community Schools is a publicschool district inKent County, Michigan in theGrand Rapids area. It servesCaledonia, part ofKentwood, andCaledonia Township and parts ofBowne,Cascade, andGaines townships.[5] It also serves part ofLeighton Township inAllegan County[6] and a part ofThornapple Township inBarry County.[7]
The presentCaledonia High School was built in 2004. South Campus was completed in fall 2017. The designer of both buildings was GMB Architects.[8][9] As part of the bond issue passed in 2020, a corridor was built to connect the two high school buildings.[10] The former high school was repurposed as Duncan Lake Middle School.[11]
In 2025, the Cal Community Center opened. The building has athletic facilities and houses a branch of theYMCA.[12]
