Calcflinta, orcalc-flinta, is a fine grainedcalc–silicate rock found amongst themetamorphic rocks of the easternHighlands ofScotland. It is ahornfels developed fromcalcareousmudstone.[1] Calcflinta is also found, for example, around the northwest margin of the Dartmoor granite in England, and on King Island in Tasmania.
