Caden Christopher Kelly[2] (born 20 November 2003) is an English professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forNational League North clubDarlington, on loan fromEFL Championship clubSunderland.

Club career

Kelly was born in Manchester, England.Manchester, England.[3][4] He started his career withManchester City, spending ten years before a stint in the academy ofSalford City.[5][6] After a brief period with the Football Flick Academy, he signed forSunderland.[6] He signed his first professional contract with Sunderland in July 2022.[3]

Kelly joinedNational League North clubDarlington on 17 October 2024 on a month's loan,[7] which was gradually extended until the end of the season.[8]
