Cabins is anunincorporated community on theNorth Fork South Branch Potomac River inGrant County,West Virginia, United States.[2] Cabins lies within theSpruce Knob–Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area of theMonongahela National Forest.
According to theGeographic Names Information System, Cabins has also been known throughout its history asCabin,Corner,Corners, andHyre's Rock. TheBoard on Geographic Names officially decided uponCabins as the community's name in 1965.[1] The origin of the name "Cabins" is obscure.[3]
