Cytochrome P450, family 76, also known asCYP76, is acytochrome P450family in landplants,[1][2] related to thebiosynthesis of many plantmonoterpenes andditerpenes such as8-hydroxygeraniol,[3][2]tanshinone andalkannin.[4][5] The first gene identified in this family is theCYP76A1 andCYP76A2 from theeggplant.[1]
