Scottishsynth-pop bandChvrches have released fourstudio albums, threeextended plays (EPs), 21singles, twopromotional singles and 19music videos. Chvrches was formed inGlasgow in 2011 and consists ofLauren Mayberry (lead vocals, additionalsynthesisers,samplers),Iain Cook (synthesisers,guitar,bass, vocals), andMartin Doherty (synthesisers, samplers, vocals).[1]

Chvrches came fifth on theBBC'sSound of 2013 list of the most promising new music talent.[2] In March 2013, they releasedRecover EP. Their debut studio albumThe Bones of What You Believe was released on 20 September 2013.
