Buna (Serbian Cyrillic: Буна) is a populated settlement at theconfluence of theBuna river andNeretva river some 10 km downstream theNeretva and south ofMostar,Herzegovina-Neretva Canton,Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The famous source of theBuna river (Vrelo Bune)[1][2] is a strongkarstic spring. The Buna river flows west from its source for approximately 9 kilometres and joins theNeretva near this village that has taken its name from the river.
According to the 2013 census, its population was 1,291.[3]
