Bulukumba Regency is aregency in the southeast corner ofSouth Sulawesi Province,Indonesia.[2] It covers an area of 1,175.53 km2, and had a population of 394,757 at the 2010 Census[3] and 437,607 at the 2020 Census;[4] the official estimate for mid 2022 was 471,688 (including 230,557 males and 241,131 females).[1] The town ofUjung Bulu is its capital.
Bulukumba Regency is divided into tenDistricts (Kecamatan), tabulated below with their areas and their populations at the 2010 Census[3] and 2020 Census,[4] together with the official estimates for mid 2023.[1] The table also includes the locations of the district administrative centres, the number ofvillages in each district (totaling 109 ruraldesa and 27 urbankelurahan), and its postal code.
