Bukit Mertajam is a federal constituency inCentral Seberang Perai District,Penang,Malaysia, that has been represented in theDewan Rakyat since 1974.
The federal constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
As of 2020, Bukit Mertajam has a population of 162,947 people.[5]
According to the federal gazette issued on 18 July 2023, the Bukit Mertajam constituency is divided into 26 polling districts.[6]
