Gusoku-bugyō

Japanese shogunate government office

TheGusoku bugyō (具足奉行) was a government office under Japan'sTokugawa shogunate, concerned with the armament of theshōgun's soldiers.[1]

The office was established in 1604; however, this office was known asbugu-bugyō after 1863.[1]
