Bucetin (INN,BAN) is ananalgesic andantipyretic that is no longer marketed.[1][2] Chemically, it is similar tophenacetin with which it shares the risk ofcarcinogenesis.[3] Bucetin was withdrawn from use in 1986 due to renal toxicity.[4]
