Bucculatrix caspica is amoth in the familyBucculatricidae. It was described by R. Puplesis and V. Sruoga in 1991. It is found inKazakhstan,Uzbekistan,Tajikistan[1]and the southern part of EuropeanRussia.[2] It is most likely a synonym ofBucculatrix ulmifoliae.[3]
The length of the forewings is 2.9-3-1 mm for males and 3.3 mm for females.
The larvae feed onUlmus species. Theymine the leaves of their host plant.[4]
