Bryan Fair

American lawyer

Bryan Keith Fair (born August 12, 1960) is an American academic; his research has focused on race and constitutional law.[1] Since 2000, he has been the Thomas E. Skinner Professor of Law at theUniversity of Alabama School of Law.[2] He presently serves as the chairman of the board of directors of theSouthern Poverty Law Center. He is the author ofNotes of a Racial Caste Baby: Colorblindness and the End of Affirmative Action.[3] He completed his undergraduate studies atDuke University, and after studying law at theUCLA School of Law, was admitted to theCalifornia Bar in 1986.[4]
