Brooke Wilkins-Penfold (born 6 June 1974) is an Australian, former collegiateAll-American, retired three-timeOlympic Games medalist, left-handed softballpitcher, originally from Sydney.[1][2] Wilkins played two years from 1994 to 1995 for theHawaii Rainbow Wahine in theBig West Conference, ranking in career pitching records for both.[3][4] She later who won a bronze medal at the1996 Summer Olympics and2000 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the2004 Summer Olympics forTeam Australia as a starting pitcher for the national team.[5][6]
Wilkins attended theUniversity of Hawaii in 1994 and 1995, but did not return to the school after winning bronze in Atlanta.[7]
