Brooke Victoria Anderson (born May 13, 1978) is a former co-host ofThe Insider, and is now a correspondent forEntertainment Tonight.[when?] Previously, she was a culture and entertainment anchor and producer forCNN and served as co-host forShowbiz Tonight onHLN. Based in CNN'sLos Angeles,California bureau, Anderson joined the network in July 2000.
Anderson graduated in 2000 with honors from theUniversity of Georgia'sHenry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication with abachelor's degree inbroadcast journalism. She is a member of theKappa Delta sorority.[1]
She has covered numerous events for CNN and Headline News, including the 2006Cannes film festival, theAcademy Awards, theEmmys, theGolden Globes, theSundance Film Festival, theMTV Video Music Awards, theNBA All-Star Weekend, Fall Fashion Week inNew York City andAtlanta'sMusic Midtown.
In February 2003, she received the Daily Point of Light Award for volunteerism from PresidentGeorge W. Bush.
In January 2012, she guest starred onDays of Our Lives, playing a reporter who interviewedJohn Black in episode 11754.
She is married to James Arthur Walker III. They have three children: two daughters[2] and a son.[3][4][5]
