TheBrock Citizen is a weekly, communitynewspaper inCannington, Ontario, Canada, that was established in 1996 combining theBeaverton Express, theCannington Gleamer andSunderland Sun newspapers. It is one of three newspapers in the Kawartha Division ofMetroland Media Group, a subsidiary ofTorstar which publishes newspapers across Ontario.

TheBrock Citizen has a circulation reaching 5,600 homes. The currentpublisher is Dana Robbins, and theeditor-in-chief is Marcus Tully.

TheCitizen serves Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland and surrounding area. While the paper is delivered on Thursdays, any breaking news is posted any day online.

Old issues of theBrock Citizen ranging from 1996 to 2000 are available at the Cannington Public Library.[1] Some issues are available onmicrofilm as well.
