Brendon Michael Walsh (born July 27, 1974) is an Americanstand-up comedian andpodcaster originally fromPhiladelphia.[1]
Walsh started performing stand-up comedy inAustin, Texas in 2002.[2] He has appeared onThe Price Is Right,[3]Premium Blend,Jimmy Kimmel Live!,Conan,Last Comic Standing, in sketches on theG4 network,@midnight, andThe Bob & Tom Show.[4] He toured from 2005 to 2008 as the opening act forDoug Stanhope.
Walsh has performed at theVancouver Comedy Festival;Just for Laughs inMontreal;[5]South by Southwest (SXSW); the first annualBentzen Ball inWashington, D.C.; theFun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas; the Bridgetown Comedy Festival[6] inPortland, Oregon; and theAspen Comedy Festival. In 2007, he won the $10,000 grand prize on the comedy stage at Famecast.com. In 2008, he was named one of the "Top 9: Emerging Comedians" onAskMen.com.[7]
On March 12, 2010, Walsh performed atA Night of 140 Tweets, a benefit forHaiti at theUpright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. In 2011, he appeared onWTF with Marc Maron[8] andThe Joe Rogan Experience.[9] He previously co-hosted a podcast,The Bone Zone, withRandy Liedtke, andDo You Know WhoJason Segel Is? podcast withNick Thune on the All Things Comedy network. He currently hostsThe World Record Podcast, wherein each week he and a guest analyze a different world record. Guests have includedMelissa Villaseñor,Josh Gad,Lin-Manuel Miranda,Christopher Nolan,Jared Fogle,Michael Keaton,Tom Brady,Corey Feldman,Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, andTaylor Swift.[10]Ted Danson also appeared on the show to discuss his pursuit to break a bowling world record.
In 2024, Walsh joined fellow comediansDoug Stanhope and Sean Green to launch the Get to the Points Podcast on Green'sSports Gambling Podcast Network.[11]
