Brendan Augustine (born 26 October 1971 inEast London) is a South African former professional soccer player who played as aright winger forBush Bucks,LASK Linz of Austria, andAjax Cape Town.[1]
He played for theSouth Africa national team and was a participant at the1997 FIFA Confederations Cup,1998 African Cup of Nations and1998 FIFA World Cup.[2] In the latter, Augustine was sent home, along withNaughty Mokoena for breaches of discipline after breaking curfew set by coachPhilippe Troussier.[3]
