Brembate (Bergamasque:Brembàt) is acomune (municipality) in theProvince of Bergamo in theItalian region ofLombardy, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast ofMilan and about 14 kilometres (9 mi) southwest ofBergamo. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 8,234 and an area of 5.5 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi).[3]
