Brandon Ramírez (born 5 September 2008) is a Salvadoran professionalfootballer who plays as aforward forTurín FESA and theEl Salvador national team.
As a youth, Ramírez began participating in local tournaments at age ten or twelve. While competing in a tournament inQuezaltepeque, a teammate's father suggested that he try out forTurín FESA. He did so and joined the club on scholarship in November 2021.[1][2] Following his standout performances with the national teams in 2025, Ramírez was hoping to join a club in thePrimera División.[3]
Ramírez represented El Salvador at the youth level in2025 CONCACAF U-17 World Cup qualification. He scored in his nation's 8–0 victory over theCayman Islands to open the qualifying campaign.[4] In the final match, Ramírez scored the game-winning goal againstJamaica to win the group and qualify for the2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup inQatar.[1] It was the first time that El Salvador qualified for theFIFA U-17 World Cup.[5]
In May 2025, Ramírez was called up to thesenior national team for the first time for afriendly againstGuatemala.[6] He scored in the 89th minute to level the score and secure the draw after entering the match as a second-half substitute forEmerson Mauricio. With the appearance and goal, he became both the youngest-ever debutante and goal scorer for El Salvador's senior national team at sixteen years and eight months old.[7][8]
