TheBranch River is an 11.9-mile (19.2 km) long[1]river located in easternNew Hampshire in theUnited States. It is atributary of theSalmon Falls River, part of thePiscataqua Riverwatershed leading to theAtlantic Ocean.
The river begins at the outlet ofLovell Lake atSanbornville, a village in the town ofWakefield, New Hampshire. The river turns south, parallelingNew Hampshire Route 16, passes through the village ofUnion, and turns southeast to reach the Salmon Falls River inNortheast Pond, within the town ofMilton.
