Bradyaerobic is a term used inbiology that describes ananimal that has low levels ofoxygen consumption.[1]
By necessity a bradyaerobic animal can engage in short low or high low-levelaerobic exercise, followed by briefanaerobically powered bursts of energy. Bradyaerobes can be sprinters, but not long-distance animals.[2]
