Bourbonne is ahealth resort due tohot springs. Thesethermal springs were known to theGauls and to theRomans who builtbaths. The Romans called the springsAquae Borvonis.[5] The name probably derives from theGallo-Roman deityBorvo. More than 11,000 patients visit the spa each year.
