Boston Weekly Messenger, 1816

TheBoston Weekly Messenger (1811–1861) was a newspaper inBoston,Massachusetts, in the 19th century. Publishers/editors included James Cutler andNathan Hale.[1][2] It began as "a political journal, established in 1811 by a company of youngfederalists, chief among whom wasJohn Lowell."[3][4] It consisted "largely of current news taken from theBoston Daily Advertiser;" the two papers shared an office at no.6Congress Street.[5][6][7]
