Boss Hoss Cycles is an Americanmotorcycle manufacturer founded by Monte Warne in 1990 and based inDyersburg, Tennessee.

Overview

The company manufactures extraordinarily largedisplacement motorcycles andmotorized tricycles with 376 to 496 cu in (6,160 to 8,130 cm3) ChevroletV8 engines, andsemi-automatic transmissions.[1][2] By the mid-1990s, Boss Hoss was selling 300 vehicles per year.[3] As of 2006[update], Boss Hoss has sold over 4,000 vehicles.[4]

Boss Hoss motorcycles' andtricycles' mass has a vibrationdamping effect, which combined with having eightengine cylinders and the very tall gears of thesemi-automatic transmission results in what has been described as "vibration-free acceleration".[5][6][7]
