Borj El Amri Airport (ICAO:DTTI) is a smallairport nearBorj El Amri, a city in theManouba Governorate ofTunisia. The airport is located 23 kilometres (14 mi) southwest ofTunis and has a functionalasphaltrunway. The airport is used as a training site for theAviation School of Borj El Amri,[3] belonging to the Tunisian Ministry of Defense.[4]
DuringWorld War II, the airport was known asMassicault Airfield and was used by theUnited States Army Air ForcesTwelfth Air Force during theNorth African Campaign. Known units assigned were:[5]
