Borislav Milošević (Serbian Cyrillic:Борислав Милошевић; 8 July 1934 – 29 January 2013) was a Yugoslav diplomat who last served asYugoslav ambassador toAlgeria,Japan andRussia. He was the elder brother of former Yugoslav and Serbian presidentSlobodan Milošević.[1][2]
Milošević started his career in the international sector ofCentral Committee ofSKJ. His diplomatic career began during the 1970s in theSoviet Union. Thanks to his excellent knowledge ofRussian he became the personal translator toTito during the latter's confidential meetings withBrezhnev. In 1998, he was appointedFRY ambassador toMoscow, the position he kept until thefifth October changes.[3] After stepping down, he continued to live in Moscow. He died inUHC Dedinje and was buried in Lijeva Rijeka,Montenegro.[4][5]
