Bora Öztürk (20 May 1955 — 6 August 1997) was a Turkish professionalfootball player who played as astriker.
Bora was a football player, who began his senior career atSakaryaspor in 1973. He followed that up with stints atŞekerspor,Göztepe, andAltay. He made his name for his successful tenure atBeşiktaş winning twoSüper Ligs, and as thetop scorer when on loan withAdanaspor in the1980–81 1.Lig season.[1] He finished his career withZonguldakspor in 1988. He died ofpharyngeal cancer in 1997.
Bora made one appearance for theTurkey national football team in a 3-01982 FIFA World Cup qualification loss to theSoviet Union on 7 October 1981.[2]European under-16 championship gold medal in 1994.
