Boissezon (French pronunciation:[bwasəzɔ̃];Occitan:Boisseson) is acommune in theTarndepartment in southernFrance. Its inhabitants are known inFrench asBoissezonnais or asBoissesonols.
The village was originally known asBuxodunum, meaning "land of thebuxus." It is home toLe Militarial, amuseum-memorial forpeace established in 1996 an old fort dating from the 11th century.[3]
