Bogatha[1]Waterfall is awaterfall located on the Cheekupally stream, Wazeedu Mandal,Mulugu district,Telangana.[2][3] It is located 120 kilometers (75 mi) fromBhadrachalam, 90 kilometers (56 mi) from Mulugu and 140 kilometers (87 mi) fromWarangal. The newly constructedEturnagaram bridge onNational Highway 163 reduced the travelling distance toHyderabad from 440 kilometers (270 mi) to 329 kilometers (204 mi).
Of the waterfalls in Mulugu District, Telangana state, it is the second largest waterfall in the Telangana region.[2]
Even though water flows throughout the year, a good time to visit is between June and November (after themonsoon), when the most water flows.[2] There is no road facility, so visitors have to trek for some distance to reach the waterfall.[2]
Bogatha is colloquially called as "the TelanganaNiagara" and "Telangana Niagara jalapatham".[2][4]its a nice scenery to go and visit there is a well maintained park and tower to see around
