Bobur Shokirjonov (orBabur Shakirdzhanov,Uzbek:Бoбур Шoкиржoнов; born December 5, 1990, inTashkent) is anUzbekistani javelin thrower.[1][2] He achieved a sixth-place finish at the2008 IAAF World Junior Championships inBydgoszcz,Poland.
At age seventeen, Shokirjonov made his official debut for the2008 Summer Olympics inBeijing, where he competed in themen's javelin throw. He placed thirty-third overall in the qualifying rounds, with a throw of 69.54 metres.[3]
