Therusty tree frog (Boana boans), also known as thegiant gladiator treefrog, is a species offrog in the familyHylidae found in South America and Panama. Its naturalhabitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowlandforests,rivers, and intermittent freshwatermarshes. In some areas, it is sympatric withH. rosenbergi.[2]
It is calledukato in theKwaza language ofRondônia, Brazil.[3]
