Bo Bragason (born March 27, 2004[1][2]) is an English actress. On television, she is known for her roles in theBBC One seriesThree Girls (2017) andThe Jetty (2024), and theDisney+ seriesRenegade Nell (2024). Her films includeThe Radleys (2024). She is set to star asPrincess Zelda in an upcoming film adaptation ofThe Legend of Zelda.
Bo Bragason was born on March 27, 2004[1][2] inChichester,West Sussex. She spent seven years of her childhood inLuxembourg and three in the south of France.[4]
Bragason, who was living with her family in the village ofMere, Cheshire, attendedKnutsford Academy. She was in Year 8 in 2016.[5] She joined theKnutsford Little Theatre and later theNational Youth Theatre, and also took Saturday classes at David Johnson Drama inManchester.[4]
As a toddler, Bragason had a minor role in the 2007 French-language filmHidden Love (French:L'Amour Caché).[4] A decade later, Bragason made her television debut as Rachel Winshaw in the 2017BBC One miniseriesThree Girls.[6] This was followed by appearances in instalments of the anthologiesMoving On, also on BBC One, andCreeped Out onCBBC.[7]
Bragason returned to film inKingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, wherein she didmotion capture performance.[4] She then appeared inPrano Bailey-Bond's 2021 horror filmCensor.[8][9] That same year, Bragason shared the role of Vera withFlorence Hunt in the stage adaptation ofForce Majeure atDonmar Warehouse.[10]
In 2024, Bragason had main roles as Roxy Trotter in theDisney+ fantasy adventure seriesRenegade Nell withLouisa Harland[11][8] and Amy Knightly in the BBC One crime dramaThe Jetty withJenna Coleman,[12][13] and starred as Clara inEuros Lyn's vampire filmThe Radleys.[14]
Bragason has a role in the BBC One 2025 historical dramaKing & Conqueror.[15] In July 2025, it was announced that Bragason would star in the lead role ofPrincess Zelda inNintendo's live-action film adaptation ofThe Legend of Zelda oppositeBenjamin Evan Ainsworth.[16]
