Bo Barrett (born James P. Barrett) is the current CEO ofChateau Montelena. He is the son ofJim Barrett, under whose ownership the 1973vintageChardonnay won first place among white wines at the 1976Judgment of Pariswine tasting. Barrett was an assistant during that vintage, working under the tutelage ofMike Grgich.[3] He is married toHeidi Barrett, former wine maker atScreaming Eagle Winery and Vineyards.
In the 2008 filmBottle Shock, a fictionalized account of theJudgment of Paris wine tasting, Bo Barrett was portrayed by actorChris Pine.
